"Return of the SS Badger"

from $40.00

The last remaining coal burning vessel on the Great Lakes, the car/passenger ferry SS Badger, is the only sailing National Landmark. Towed across the lake from her home port in Ludington, MI by tug William C. Gaynor on the bow and tug Donald J. Sarter on the stern, the historic ship (built At Christy Corporation in Stugeon Bay in 1952-53), enters the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal for her 5-year USCG inspection and a winter makeover at Bay Shipbuilding Company. More on the SS Badger’s Arrival into town in my YouTube video here: https://youtu.be/pq6EPDRD0Xk And her debut after her winter makeover here: https://youtu.be/11RNDvY3DtQ
